On 4 July, Gianesini received the “certificate of appreciation” from the Japanese Society of Phlebology. The ceremony took place during the 39th national congress of this prestigious Japanese scientific organisation, following the keynote lecture delivered by Gianesini himself on the international revision of the international guidelines in phlebology and lymphology.
