Treatment of varicose veins with saphenous sparing (minimally invasive surgery, laser, radiofrequency, glue, MOCA), sclerotherapy, spider vein treatment, ulcers and hard-to-heal wounds, advanced Doppler diagnostics.
The method
Sparing the saphenous vein.
Thanks to an accurate duplex ultrasound assessment and a thorough knowledge of the venous system, it is possible to restore correct venous drainage without removing, burning or gluing the main vein, known as the saphenous vein.
The saphenous vein is worth keeping
It is the main motorway of the leg and, when needed, an excellent bypass for heart and limbs. When you know how to do it well, it is better not to remove it.
Correct the escape point
Literally the “movement” of blood. Thanks to the proposed strategy it is possible to optimise the drainage of the limb.
Thirty minutes at most
Haemodynamic correction is minimally invasive, takes thirty minutes at most, most often without anaesthesia or at most under local anaesthesia. The return to normal activity is immediate.
Everything proposed can be proven
Everything proposed on this site follows scientific evidence, including the studies conducted and published by Prof. Gianesini himself.

Lipedema, lymphedema and pelvic venous disorders need phlebology, rehabilitation, nutrition and gynaecology working on the same patient.
Patient guide
Scientific evidence translated into plain language.
This section reports basic information on venous and lymphatic disease and on limb lipedema, as well as on pelvic venous disorders, following the data reported in the scientific literature, cited in the text with full bibliographic detail, so that patients can deepen their knowledge of the subject even further. The saphenous vein: remove it or preserve it?
Reflux in the saphenous vein does not mean the vein is diseased: it means it sits between two points at different pressure.

Lipedema
It is not obesity and it is not water retention. It is a chronic disease of adipose tissue that calls for differential diagnosis and a multidisciplinary pathway.

Lymphedema
It is not just a swollen leg: treating it early and appropriately makes a great difference.

Eight areas, one logic.
It is not “only” the use of minimally invasive technology: it is above all the strategy, built on scientific evidence and a multi-specialty approach.
Advanced Doppler diagnostics
High-resolution ultrasound for venous, arterial, lymphatic disease and lipedema. Pre-operative mapping for haemodynamic correction with saphenous sparing.
Spider veins: sclerotherapy and transdermal laser
Hi-tech treatments focused on the deep source of the reflux, not only on what shows on the surface.
Varicose veins with saphenous sparing
Minimally invasive surgery, laser, radiofrequency, glue and MOCA. Reflux is corrected and the vein is preserved, optimising drainage and leaving the venous capital available for any future bypass.
Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery under local anaesthesia, with immediate return to normal activity.
Lymphedema — LYMPHOkinetik protocol
Advanced differential diagnosis, duplex ultrasound, multi-specialty treatment plan, advanced therapeutic technology.
Lipedema — LIPOkinetik protocol
Advanced differential diagnosis, duplex ultrasound, multi-specialty treatment plan, advanced therapeutic technology with patents unique to the field.
Pelvic venous disorders — PHLEBObgyn project
Pelvic pain, pain during intercourse, vulvar varices, lower back discomfort.
Ulcers and hard-to-heal wounds
Advanced diagnostics, treatment of the vascular cause, advanced wound care, regenerative medicine, multi-specialty management.
