Gianesini, serving as president of the World Union of Phlebology, launched on 1 March the work of four working groups involving experts from around the world and focused on academic engagement, public awareness of venous disease, multi-specialty activity, and the representation of the population and of healthcare professionals. The groups are open to external collaboration by writing to gnssrg@unife.it
