On 21 September 2024, in honour of the first year of his presidency of the World Union of Phlebology and Lymphology (UIP), Prof. Gianesini was invited to deliver an honorary lecture on the advancement of phlebological and lymphological practice worldwide, at the congress of the Italian Society of Regenerative Medicine (SIMCRI), in Rome.
