Prof. Gianesini was invited to Panama to chair practical clinical cases on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous disease (varicose veins, spider veins, pelvic venous congestion), lymphedema and lipedema.
On that occasion he received the recognition of Honorary Member of the Panamanian Phlebological Society.
