On 13 June, Gianesini received the honour of being invited to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità to speak on the correct management of venous and lymphatic patients, with particular focus on lifestyle, including aquatic and thermal practices. On that occasion, the project involving patients themselves at the forthcoming world congress of the venous-lymphatic World International foundation, directed by Gianesini, was also presented.
