On 22 June, Gianesini was invited as guest of honour to the annual Congress of the Pan-American Society of Phlebology and Lymphology, where he delivered several lectures focused on the appropriate treatment of varicose veins and spider veins, as well as on the scientific research he has conducted in the fields of basic science and real world data.
