On 27 June, in Athens, Gianesini chaired a masterclass involving international colleagues on the modern management of varicose veins, lymphedema, lipedema, pelvic venous congestion and venous ulceration. On that occasion, the work carried out by Prof. Gianesini's research team on the identification of an endothelial receptor involved in both venous and lymphatic disease was presented.
